Međutim, kultni magazin je tu da bi pomjerao granice, pa ako malo bolje pogledate, vidjećete da su te ljepotice dvije žene koje su modnim svijetom vladale prije nekoliko decenija, koje danas imaju 48, odnosno 51 godinu Klaudija Šifer i Stefani Sejmur.

– Sedamdesetih godina prošlog vijeka čuveni fotograf Helmut Njutn uveo je seksi nijanse u svijet modne fotografije. Našim avgustovskim izdanjem ovom majstoru odajemo počast pričom o ženskom osnaživanju, pošto je sada iza objektiva žena, Kolijer Šor, stručnjak da fotografijom ruši sve moguće predrasude – rekli su iz Voga o fotografijama Klaudije Šifer i Stefani Sejmur.

I zaista, fotografije su toliko očaravajuće da je pitanje šta je veći utisak. S jedne strane, Klaudija i Stefani kao da uopšte ne stare, mada prva ima 48, a druga 51 godinu, izgledaju moćno i, da ne znamo da su to zapravo one, lako bismo mogli da pomislimo da su u dvadesetim i dok ih gledamo u glavi nam samo odzvanja stih Nataše Bekvalac “Dođi mami”. S druge strane, ove fotografije pokazuju i da ove dame vode igru, one nisu curice koje su samo stale pred objektiv, one su potpuno svjesne svoje seksualnosti i odlično se osjećaju u svojoj koži.

I Klaudija i Stefani su se skinule do gole kože pred kamerom, ali one se nose s tim, uživaju i uz to, čini se, nemaju namjeru da stanu.

Theoretically, the women in these photographs by Newton were “making” their own portraits in that very brief moment that they are looking at themselves in mirrors and releasing the camera’s shutter with a cable release. The idea for my story evolved into me stepping into the shoes of Helmut Newton and being shown in the mirrors’ reflections, photographing Claudia and Stephanie.”(…) “When you are photographing women such as Stephanie and Claudia, who are literally like the walking lexicons of fashion gesture in photography, there are things they will and will not do. Tako je Klaudija, koja se sada poslije 25 godina slikala za „Vog“, tačno znala šta želi, a šta ne. Na ovim fotografijama nema apsloutno ničega što ona nije odobrila – rekla je za kraj Kolijer Šor, fotograf.
